Mr. Meat Steakhouse is a modern, fire-driven steakhouse on Haarlemmerstraat, in the heart of Amsterdam.
We focus on one thing: exceptional meat, served in its purest form. Each cut is prepared without marinades or heavy sauces, so its natural flavor, texture and character speak for themselves.
At the heart of the experience is our in-house butcher display, where guests can see, learn about and personally choose their cut. From there, our kitchen team works with precision; using fire, timing and technique, nothing more.
Led by Chef Hüseyin Tanrıbuyurdu, a master meat specialist with nearly 45 years of experience, Mr. Meat is built on craftsmanship, transparency and respect for the product.
Complemented by a curated wine and cocktail selection and thoughtfully prepared vegetarian options, Mr. Meat is a refined yet welcoming steakhouse, a place where attention to detail meets the warmth of true hospitality.
OUR PHILOSOPHY
At Mr. Meat, our philosophy is shaped by one belief: great meat does not need a sauce.
Our approach is intentionally simple. We source carefully, prepare skillfully and cook with fire and timing, keeping the process honest so the natural character of each cut comes forward. Every piece begins at our in-house butcher display, where guests can see the product, understand it and choose it themselves. This openness builds trust and brings the guest closer to the experience.
